전통 장신구가 지닌 형태와 상징은 그대로 가져가고, 지금의 재료와 시선으로 새롭게 풀어낸 전통 장신구를 선보입니다. 현대의 재료로 제작한 족두리와 화관은 익숙한 관모를 새로운 모습으로 바라보게 하고, 노리개에 전통 장신구의 새로운 쓰임을 담아 표현합니다.

고요한 한옥의 공간에서 만나는 족두리와 화관, 노리개를 따라 과거와 현재의 아름다움이 자연스럽게 이어지는 순간을 경험해보시기 바랍니다.

This exhibition presents traditional Korean ornaments reimagined through contemporary materials and perspectives, while preserving the forms and symbolism that have defined them for generations. Modern interpretations of the jokduri and hwagwan, traditional Korean ceremonial headpieces, offer a fresh perspective on these historic forms, while the norigae explores new ways of bringing traditional ornaments into everyday life.

Set within the quiet beauty of a traditional Korean hanok, the exhibition invites you to discover how the beauty of Korea’s past can continue to resonate in the present through these reimagined jokduri, hwagwan, and norigae.
