Hong Geon-ik House is excited to introduce Seochon : Explorative Walk, a guided tour designed for international visitors.
This guided tour serves as a comprehensive journey through the Seochon area, highlighting the multiple layers of time and space surrounding the western side of Gyeongbokgung Palace. Structured around key themes such as 'space', 'history', 'art', and 'public', the tour invites participants to explore Seochon with expert docents.
Our third theme, 🖼️Galleries, invites you to uncover the fascinating stories behind Seochon’s hidden markings. Located west of Gyeongbokgung Palace, these artistic hubs have significantly contributed to the cultural vitality of the neighborhood. This tour invites you to explore Seochon’s unique galleries, which have been shaped over time by local artists.
Starting at the Hong Geon-ik House, you will traverse the alleys of Seochon, distinctive galleries that showcase artworks and narrate the stories.
